A post on a Monday? It’s like waffled french toast- different, but just as good!
So apparently today is a very special day. It is FI-iku Day aka Financial Independence Haiku Day!
Now, I just learned about this special occasion this morning while reading the brilliant work of My Son’s Father.
I thought to myself. I like poetry. I used to write it all the time in high school. I can so do this.
That was at 9:27am this morning.
Then life happened.
I got home from work, wrote reports, scheduled clients, chatted with my employee, responded to emails and phone calls, you get the picture. Even though I wanted to do a FIi-iku, I convinced myself I just didn’t have time.
Enter Guy On Fire’s timely post about limiting beliefs. It’s now 8:26pm 9:19pm 9:47pm and here I am getting it done. Thanks GOF, you’re words have already inspired a change in my mindset.
Hope you enjoy the short post today! And shout out to Crispy Doc for spearheading this whole thing!!

And one I wrote previously for MSF’s 10 Questions:
FI life is the best
To do what one wants, no buts
Waffles are good too
Love these! You’ve done the FI-iku series proud!
My Sons Father recently posted…Poetry of Financial Independence
Glad I got my act together and did it. It was super fun!

FI + poetry = FI-etry?
No self promoting, eh? But your name is 5 syllables…
