Hello, It’s me.

I was wondering if after all these *months* you’d like to meet.

Hello.

Can you hear me?

Actually, I should ask, do you remember me?

Overlooking Helsinki

I know it’s been a hot minute since I posted last. Let’s just say that life got in the way.

Now, I have a million and one ideas of things that I want to post about that have been floating around this head of mine, but being that I am pressed for time, I’m gonna keep this one short and sweet.

They say in order to make something a habit, you have to gradually build it into your routine.

You can’t just jump in full throttle and expect it to stick. So rather than put the pressure on myself to write the most beautiful blog post for my grand re-entrance back into the land of FIRE blogs, I decided to just take a second to jot down some thoughts and slowly build back writing into my routine.

Because let’s be real, I pretty much fell off the face of the blogosphere rather abruptly and without really intending to do so.

And I’m sure you all are wondering what’s going on with me so without further ado…

Where in the world am I?

Tallinn, Estonia

What am I doing?

(Besides writing this blog post and drinking sleepytime tea) I just got back from having dinner and experiencing the dumplings of the universe. I tried dumplings from Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Russian and in case you were wondering, they were all fantastic.

Exhibit A: dumplings

How am I?

Currently, I’m exhausted from an amazing day (more on that to come). Happy, because Tallinn is incredible and absolutely magical. Reflective, since I am finally having time to clear my head and actually think about life. Emotional, because time and space allow for deep emotions to surface that need to be faced. I have so much to talk about here… To be continued.

Questions from TwitterLand

ICYMI, I tweeted the other day asking if any of you had questions for me and my non-existence:

Stop(ped) Ironing Shirts asked:

Well, as far as you all know, I might have. What’s to say that I am not just pretending to be him online.

And Mr. DTF…er… I mean CTF asked:

Well, we’re going going back back to Cali Cali come the New Year, at least for a little bit, so maybe we’ll see them sometime around then.

There you have it.

A short, reintroduction to Mrs.Wow getting back into blogging life.

Hit me up if you got questions and I’ll answer them on a future post.

And I leave you with a picture of beer and a waffle, cause that’s how I do.

Pohjala: One of our new favorite spots in Tallinn
Happy waffle, need I say more?

Who are you, and what did you do to Mrs. WoW?? We need more Proof of Life, that could be any woman overlooking Helsinki.

Glad to have you back! Not surprising that you fell off the cliff, it’s a strangely common phenomenon when bloggers cross The Starting Line. Your blog, your timeline, don’t put any undo pressure on yourself.

“Well, as far as you all know, I might have. What’s to say that I am not just pretending to be him online.”

BWAHAHA. So….what did you do with the shovel after you buried his body? 😛

Welcome back to the blogosphere! I hear you about the struggle to write the perfect post. That’s me to a “T”! I’m always fixing fixing and fixing it but it’s never perfect. And that’s okay. Ever since I started meditating, I’ve decided to let it go and just pick consistency over perfection. it’s helped a lot. Sometimes it’s better to show the warts rather than be blemish-free. Perfection is boring. You do you!

Love all the delicious-looking waffles. Yum!

    Miss you guys!
